If I were you I would only buy used textbooks from a source that has sold thousands of used textbooks before.

If you do buy used textbooks from a new seller you run the risk's I stated above like not getting the book you really wanted.

Last but not least don't expect a used textbook that you buy to be in excellent condition. Every seller states that the textbook is in better condition than it really is, but that is because they own it. If you owned it you would do the same thing.

The last thing to know when you buy used books is make sure you don't buy a textbook that has huge shipping charges. A lot of students will find the cheapest text books and they will buy the first one they see, not knowing that a little more expensive textbook might have less shipping charges and will in the end cost less.
